On Saturday 7th July we had a packed house at The Greystones' celebrated Backroom for our Young Folk concert in support of FOEC. The concert featured co-headliners Joe Banfi and Grace Petrie. Everyone there agreed it was truly inspirational night, hugely enjoyed by all.

Joe and Grace are gifted young musicians with distinctly different styles, both hurtling to the top of their profession. Joe was joined on bass and vocals by Annie and Grace was joined on percussion, harmonica and vocals by Caitlin. We can't thank them enough for a fantastic evening of amazing music and celebration.

There was a stream of calls and texts all afternoon requesting ticket reservations and a queue of people who turned up on the night. Thank you to everyone who came along. We were delighted and very proud to be able to put up a SOLD OUT sign just before the gig began and, with a bit of squeezing in and making of new friends, managed to get just about everyone into the room.

We must do it again! Certainly the response from the audience was unanimous in its praise. Even the staff at The Greystones remarked at how up for it everyone was.

Here are some pictures from Young Folk.
